About Sue Watkins

I am a Registered Nutritional Therapist & Wellness Coach, based in North Hertfordshire.  My mission is to help clients with digestive complaints regain their health, vigour & vitality.

Having worked in Financial Services, my career has involved relocating to various parts of the country; extensive travel to and from appointments as well as late nights at the office alongside trying to balance a quality home life.  As I know only too well, the cost of these lifestyle factors is often our health.

I was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome in my 20's having visited my GP thinking I was just a bit run-down.  The doctor offered me a few powders and little else to help me recover.  The day to day rollercoaster of stress and anxiety involved with the symptoms - severe bloating, pain & discomfort, as well as constipation and diarrhoea not to mention smells and noises.  Just managing day-to-day was a huge effort.

My search for better health had begun and eventually led me to study for a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy at the  College of Naturopathic Medicine in London.  This three year course offered an exploration of body function, the importance of nutrition in maintaining health and wellness, coping with life stressors and understanding the damage that results from the toxic world in which we live.

Most importantly I discovered that food is a powerful means to nourish the body; using foods that best suit our unique self allows us to repair and maintain our vitality - just as nature intended.

Being a Nutritional Therapist supports my aims for better health for myself and my family.  It also equips me to support your journey to achieve your best health.

My part in your journey to reaching your health goals will be the support, explanation of what is happening, and knowledge of how you can retake control.  To support you in this I use Coaching as a means of empowering you to overcome obstacles that might get in the way, breaking down barriers that limit your chance of success.  Now is the time to break free and focus on a brighter, better future - eat, nourish and achieve your best of health.
